Today, June 11th marks the 19th anniversary of Michael Jordan’s legendary “Flu Game” game performance during Game 5 of the NBA Finals against the Utah Jazz.
To celebrate that moment, Jordan Brand has opened up their Flu Game Jordan pop-up shop in Salt Lake City. The space is a local boutique that has been turned into a mini museum to celebrate the Flu Game anniversary that includes shoes, clothing and memorabilia.
Both the “Flu Game” and “Gym Red” colorways of the Air Jordan 12 were available for purchase, as well as a look at all the previous and upcoming Air Jordan 12 colorways. Those included was the PSNY, The Master, French Blue, WINGS, Flu Game, Wolf Grey, Alternate, OVO, Neoprene aka Nylon, and the never-before-seen Wool Air Jordan 12.
During the shop, the actual game is being re-broadcasted in-store for the event as a nod to that memorable day.
