Nike is saluting one of Japan’s most iconic baseball teams, the Yomiuri Giants, with a standout Air Max 90 release set for Spring 2025. This collaborative edition, officially titled the Yomiuri Giants x Nike Air Max 90 “Tokyo”, celebrates both the team’s championship pedigree and its deep connection to Tokyo.

Dressed in Black, White, Iron Grey, and Bright Ceramic, the sneaker draws color inspiration from the Giants’ historic uniforms, which pay tribute to the old-school New York Giants. The bold orange Swoosh and metallic Air Max badge give the shoe an electric pop, while baseball-style stitching along the heel adds a nod to the sport itself.

Replacing the usual Nike logo is a stylized “TYO” on the tongue and heel, representing Tokyo with pride. The premium mix of nubuck and leather elevates the overall look, while the Bright Ceramic midsole accent and rugged waffle outsole round out the design.

Nike Air Max 90 Tokyo Release Date

While release details remain limited, the Nike Air Max 90 “Tokyo” will likely remain a Japan-exclusive drop through Nike Japan during Spring 2025.
