It’s still always interesting to me whenever I go into an office building, or some type of formal/corporate setting, and I see people wearing sneakers. While they aren’t necessarily wearing anything eye-catching—such as the newest Jordan retro, or the most recent sneaker collab—they are still wearing sneaker nonetheless. I remember a time not that long ago when that sort of thing was taboo. “Real professionals wore dress shoes” was the mantra and train of thought. I wear a men’s size 15, and even I’d be tempted to rock a pair IF they had come in my size. You can rock these casually. You can wear them to work. You can even attend a black tie event and do the whole “no socks with dress shoes and a suit” look. Best case scenario? I see these on-foot in someone’s upcoming high school Homecoming pictures posted on social media. Worst case scenario?
