Video: Lions’ Calvin Johnson Makes Cover of Sports Illustrated

Not only are our Detroit Lions hungry for the playoffs but we tend to be the talk of the NFL with our 4-0 start. This week was even more impressive as Calvin Johnson makes the cover of Sports Illustrated, which the last Lion to do so was Joey Harrington back in 2002. In the 90s we had two covers with the Hall of Fame Barry Sanders and the other was with Chris Claiborne. With Calvin’s 8 TD in just 4 games we hope that Chris Carter has been taking not and maybe now hitting himself for the dumb comment he made saying Calvin wasn’t a top 5 WR. “C’mon MAN” Back at him. Not only is this good for the city of Detroit but for Lions fans as well. We have came a long way and its just hard to believe how far this team has come in only a few years. Megatron is on his game this year, Let’s Break Records !
