UPDATE 8/3/26: The Victor Victor x Nike Air Force 1 ’01 “Yellow Zest” releases August 6 alongside the “University Red” colorway. Both are part of a six-pair lineup expected for Fall/Winter 2026, while release dates for the remaining four have yet to be announced.

Victor Wembanyama brought huge attention to the Victor Victor x Nike Air Force 1 Low ‘01 “Yellow” after donning the sneakers on his way down the tunnel prior to Game 3 of the NBA Finals.

The Victor Victor x Nike Air Force 1 Low ‘01 “Yellow” should drop sometime between Summer and Fall 2026, officially bringing the shoes beyond the initial buzz from friends and family. While Nike and Victor Victor haven’t dropped a confirmed launch date, we know that the yellow AF1 will continue to drop as part of Victor Victor’s capsule with Nike.

Yellow leather is predominantly used on the upper to give the shoe a striking tonal look, without losing too much of the OG AF1 aesthetic. White accents are then placed on the Swoosh, laces and midsole. A black outsole is used to create contrast on the bottom. Victor Victor’s signature dog head logo is stamped onto the heel, a key differentiating detail.

The release also rides on the Air Force 1 Low ’01 silhouette. The profile allows for a slimmed down toe box and overall sharper shape than what we’ve come to expect from recent Air Force 1 releases. This early-2000s-esque silhouette really complements the project, especially with Nike’s ongoing trend of revisiting classic Sportswear designs and archive-influenced styles.
