Victor Solomon’s next Nike project is shifting the mood just in time for WNBA All-Star Weekend.
After debuting his first Nike collection during NBA All-Star Weekend, the Los Angeles artist appears to be bringing the concept back with a darker follow-up. This new chapter replaces the clean white uppers from the original pairs with black-based versions, giving Solomon’s ornate detailing a sharper, more dramatic look.
So far, the Nike Air Force 1 and Air Max 90 have surfaced. Both pairs continue the same art-driven direction, highlighted by metallic gold lace hardware and details tied to Solomon’s stained-glass-inspired work. The black backdrop also makes those gold accents stand out even more, especially on the Air Max 90, which had not been seen until now.
The Air Force 1 leaked shortly after the first Victor Solomon x Nike collection released in February, while the Air Max 90 gives us a better look at how the second drop is coming together. The Nike Air Foamposite One was part of the original three-shoe lineup, but the black version has not surfaced yet. It is still expected to be included if Nike keeps the same format.
WNBA All-Star Weekend runs July 23rd through July 25th, making that window the likely release period. Expect the Victor Solomon x Nike collection to launch around the event through select Chicago-area retailers, with a possible SNKRS release also in play.
