VandyThePink is folding its earlier “Strawberry” and “Banana Split” ideas into one ASICS GEL-Kayano 12.1, this time using a Neapolitan ice cream theme. The upcoming collaboration combines both palettes instead of treating them as separate releases, giving the silver runner a mix of pink, yellow, green, beige, and brown accents.

Metallic overlays and layered mesh preserve the GEL-Kayano 12.1’s early-2000s performance look. Brighter colors are worked through the upper and cushioning, while the sole carries the most direct reference to the theme with sections inspired by strawberry, vanilla, and chocolate ice cream.

VandyThePink adds more than color blocking to sell the concept. Cartoon ice cream cone graphics appear on the insoles, and the special packaging uses faded tan and beige shades that recall an older neighborhood ice cream shop.

Overseas retailers have listed the VandyThePink x ASICS GEL-Kayano 12.1 for July 1, 2026. Neither ASICS nor VandyThePink has officially announced the release, and pricing and wider availability have not been confirmed.
