Just when you thought sneaker collabs couldn’t get any sweeter, here comes the UnheardOf x adidas Rivalry Lo Grandma’s Couch 2. Released just in time to make your Mother’s Day gift look weak, this final chapter honors Naomi Phillips, the internet’s favorite Sneaker Grandma.
Philip Lipschutz II and adidas clearly raided grandma’s house for inspiration. Covered in floral prints that Naomi herself picked, these kicks scream “I love you” louder than your last awkward family hug. The details go deep, too. Naomi’s real handwriting graces the heels, and a proposal note from her husband is sneakily tucked into the insoles.
Of course, Phil had to throw in a little emotional flex. A reversed handwritten note also nods to his struggles with dyslexia and his endless love for his grandma. Feel something yet? Good.
The packaging? Oh, it’s extra. Think luxury beauty case meets botanical garden explosion, complete with rose gold hardware and watercolor flowers. It’s like your grandmother’s living room, but make it fashion.

UPDATE 5/8/25: A limited UnheardOf x adidas Rivalry Lo Grandma’s Couch 2 “Green” colorway has surfaced, rumored to be a Friends & Family edition limited to just 100 pairs. If released, it’s expected to drop at the Cincinnati launch event, similar to the “Blue” Piggy Runners drop.
The “Pink” UnheardOf x adidas Rivalry Lo Grandma’s Couch 2 remains scheduled for a May 10, 2025 release, exclusively at UnheardOf.
