Undefeated returns with Jordan Brand for two releases of the Air Jordan 5 in 2027. The pairs will consist of “Moon Fossil” and “Light Chocolate.” Full-zip hoodies, sweatpants and T-shirts will also be available.

The project follows the return of Undefeated’s Air Jordan 4 in 2025. This time, the Los Angeles label is moving over to the Air Jordan 5 for its next Jordan Brand release.

Two colorways are currently being reported. The “Moon Fossil” pair combines Moon Fossil, University Red, Fossil, and Black, while the second uses Light Chocolate, University Red, Cement Grey, and Black.

A first look at the “Moon Fossil” pair has now surfaced, giving us an early idea of what the collection could look like. The pair shown may be a sample, but it features several details that have been reported for the release, including Undefeated’s Five Strike logo near the lateral heel, Nike Air-style branding with “UND” underneath, a reflective tongue, translucent lace locks, and an icy outsole.

The “Light Chocolate” colorway has not been revealed yet, but it is expected to follow the same general setup and branding as the “Moon Fossil” pair.

Undefeated and Jordan Brand go back more than 20 years, with their original Air Jordan 4 becoming one of the more memorable boutique collaborations from that era. The Air Jordan 5 will add another model to their long-running partnership.

Undefeated Air Jordan 5 Release Date

The Undefeated x Air Jordan 5 “Moon Fossil” and “Light Chocolate” are expected to release February 18, 2027, during NBA All-Star Weekend in Phoenix. A matching apparel collection is also expected to release alongside both pairs.
