Between Air Jordans and Yeezys, it sometimes seems as if there aren’t any other sneakers or brands that exist. And to be honest, coming from a card-carrying sneakerhead, there are times where sneakers aren’t an option. Sometimes you have to be different and step out of your comfort zone. There’s casual sneakers and then there’s casual shoes. Take Timberland for example. The go-to, urban look for those who live in the Midwest/east coast from autumn throughout winter.

For those of you “looking to be different” this year, Timberland has teamed up with Ultamiciti to create 12-custom exclusive 6” boots, partly in commemoration of the grand opening of the new 16,000 sq. ft. Champs Sports location on State St. in Chicago, IL. The collection of limited edition customized Timberland boots will be sold at that Champs Sport location on Wednesday, August 26th. Each boot will retail for $400 and ALL proceeds will be donated to the “Little Black Pearl Art and Design Academy“.

There are 5 Timberland boots in all, each boot depicting a customized painting of an animal. Some might see it as a way to showcase their spirit animal lol. If you’re in the Chicago area on Wednesday, August 26th, you might want to swing by and check it out. For the rest of us, I guess we’ll just have to wait on the next 16,000 sq. ft. Champs Sports being built in our town.
