The show starts off a little differently. Although they’re a “sneaker podcast”, the crew spend the beginning of the show talking a little about the Lakers woes and their reaction to the recent “Joker” movie trailer.

Getting back on track, they discuss the big news of the week; Beyonce partners with adidas to relaunch her “Ivy Park” brand.

Reebok also made news this past week by being the brand that lost Beyonce. But it’s more of a matter of how they lost her that’s making the headlines. Guru and Caesar speculate even further by coming up with an interesting conspiracy theory that may have been working against Reebok the entire time.

Under the radar, Naomi Osaka signs with Nike. Could this potentially be the better deal between the signature signings this week?

Zion Williamson’s Nike PG 2.5 that exploded earlier this year during a NCAA game is being valued at $250k by an auction house.

Police in Eaton Township, MI are hoping that a pair of sneakers can help to ID a woman who was murdered.

In This Week In Stupid, a man steals his former roommate’s sneakers and is quickly caught because he replaced the stolen sneakers with his own shoes.

And finally, Caesar does another segment of Shoe Check. This time he calls Los Angeles-area stores to look for the Nike LeBron “Playoff” Pack. The pack comes with “Purple/Gold” Nike LeBron slides to wear around the house and a Laker-themed universal remote to channel surf between NBA games of actual teams that made the playoffs.
