The crew breaks down the sneaker culture here in Detroit, and how it differs from other major cities around the country. They also discuss how SMUs are being passed off as true collaborations by the brands.

Jeff Staples took issue with American Eagle a few weeks ago. The crew debates whether or not he has a point and if he’s the right person to be making that point. The bigger question is have the sneaker brands allowed a monster to develop and grow by allowing resell consignment shops to flourish?

Gucci is selling distressed sneakers for over $800. In fairness to the price, it does come with some shoe cleaner.

Lonzo Ball leaves Big Baller Brand after concerns from the Lakers that his sneakers may be contributing to guys AND after a business partner rips him off to the tune of $1.5 million.

And finally, the Goat App had a kleptomaniac on their hands out in Secaucus. After four burglaries, Daqwuan Ralls was eventually caught breaking into a Goat App warehouse with a knife. All in all, he stole over $52,000 worth of sneakers, which equates to about 39 pairs of Off-White X Air Jordan 1s.
