In this episode of TSB, the crew laughs at how Skechers blatantly ripped off the Adidas Stan Smith. Adidas went on to win that lawsuit recently. But then, what could only be seen as both frivolous and petty, Skechers counters with a lawsuit of their own, claiming that the FBI investigation into adidas, involving the NCAA scandal, has hurt their business. Their reasoning is that they were the number two brand in the U.S., that is until Adidas gained momentum by allegedly dealing in some shady business.

In brighter, less petulant, news, there’s a sneaker that is made up of recycled chewing gum scraped up off the streets of the Netherlands. It comes with a street map of Amsterdam designed into the outsole, and possibly the DNA of everyone who lives in that country.

Some high school students hooked up their Spanish teacher with a pair of “French Blue” 12s. De nada.

And finally, we talk to a man who was accidentally given a pair of the upcoming “Melo” Air Jordan Retro 2s when all he wanted to do was purchase a pair of Nike Air Max 97s.
