Travis Scott showed up to The Odyssey premiere in a pair of Nikes that had not been seen before.
The new pair sits low to the ground and has a noticeably older shape than most of Scott’s recent Nike work. Leather and hairy suede cover the upper, with layered sections around the toe and heel that resemble some of Nike’s earliest running shoes, like the Moon Shoe. The exposed stitching around the front adds to that worn-in, handmade look.
Scott’s reverse Swoosh is still easy to spot. A dark burgundy version stretches across each side of the black upper, while matching laces add another small hit of color.
Nike has not revealed the name of the shoe or confirmed whether it is a new model built for Scott, or an older silhouette pulled from the archive and changed for the collaboration.
No release date has been announced for the Travis Scott x Nike sneaker worn at The Odyssey premiere. For now, the pair remains another unreleased sample that Scott has introduced in public before an official rollout.
