The Whitaker Group has a new spin on the New Balance 2010 dropping later this month, with ostrich-print leather giving the shoe a much different look. Most of the upper is done in steel grey and beige, with some brown mixed in and just a few touches of purple.

Steel grey leather covers the toe and runs along the lower side panels, with the ostrich pattern giving the shoe its most noticeable detail. The rest of the upper shifts to light beige mesh, including the tongue. Grey “N” logos sit on the sides, and the beige midsole keeps everything in that same muted range.

There isn’t much purple, but it shows up where it counts. The tongue tag gets a hit of it, along with the ABZORB pods around the heel. Outside of those details, the 2010 stays mostly neutral and lets the mix of leather and mesh do the work.

The Whitaker Group x New Balance 2010 “Ostrich” releases September 25, 2026, through The Whitaker Group retailers in stores and online. It will be available in unisex sizing for $155.
