Jeff Staple has always moved between the city and the outdoors. That tension shows up again in his latest work with Brooks. The STAPLE x Brooks Pack arrives February 5, 2026, blending archive and modern performance without feeling forced.

The Cascadia 1 still feels familiar, but isn’t covered in dust. Light brown mesh lives under darker suede and nubuck patterns along the midsole, heel tab, and collar. Red stitches and laces help draw contrast while a gum outsole keeps some trail DNA in the equation. The shoe’s leather even includes a hidden map of New York City stitched in subtly off-kilter lines, ground in Staple’s city.

The Ghost Trail takes things one step further. Its one-piece tan mesh upper keeps the shoe feeling cleaner and more utilitarian. Meanwhile the grey-and-light-brown split midsole nods at modern cushioning technology without going overboard. Red laces and the heel pull tab help tie both shoes together, but it’s clear this sneaker favors comfort and daily utility.
