The Superstar has always lived at the intersection of sport and street, but this version leans harder into fashion than most. After its January 2026 debut, Young Thug’s Sp5der returns to adidas with a second statement that feels less like a collaboration and more like a reinterpretation of a cultural staple.

Wrapped in high-gloss red patent leather, the Sp5der x adidas Superstar looks premium at first glance, yet the surface tells a different story. A cracked, spider-web texture stretches across the upper, creating tension between slick polish and raw edge around the shell toe. Meanwhile, the black Three Stripes shift slightly forward on the side panel, subtly altering the silhouette’s profile without drawing attention to the tweak.

Details pile on in ways that reward a closer look rather than shouting for attention. “555 555” appears inside the shoe and repeats on the translucent outsole alongside Sp5der branding, creating a quiet thread of identity beneath the foot. The padded tongue carries embroidered “555” stitching, while the patent serrated stripes keep the pair grounded in classic Superstar DNA.
