Paris Fashion Week served as the stage for the full reveal of Song For The Mute’s Fall/Winter 2026 project with adidas. The Australian label reworks both the Samba and the brand-new SL72 Pro, bringing its distinct design language to two very different silhouettes.

The deconstructed Sambas show this best. The fold-down heel alters the silhouette’s functionality so you can slip them on like a slide whenever you please. Soft suede and leather ensure that the silhouette itself never feels stiff. Black and white, brown and black, and green and black each bring a different tone. The oversized tags and cream laces feel like quiet signatures rather than branding statements.

The SL72 Pro takes a similar approach. Lightstrike cushioning shifts the ride into modern territory, but the upper still feels rooted in adidas history. Canvas, suede, and leather keep the balance between old and new.
