Social Status and Jordan Brand celebrated Art Basel this past Friday with an exclusive release of the Air Jordan 1 “Art Basel” Pack that includes the “Igloo” and “Rust Pink” colorways.
Inspired by the city’s Art Deco heritage. Jordan Brand takes the classic Air Jordan 1 Retro High “Black Toe” and gives them a South Beach-friendly color scheme for the occasion.
While the official location for the pop-up was shut-down, Social Status had to relocate, and they did in a big way. Perfect for the event, the release was now located on a 120-foot yacht.
To go along with the Air Jordan 1s, Social Status also had special edition hoodie made for the event that featured the hotel’s address of 1100 West Ave. on the back.
