15 years ago today, Michael Jordan played in one of the most rememberable performance in NBA History, The Flu Game. It was Game 5 of the 1997 Finals, Chicago Bulls vs Utah Jazz and MJ was fighting the flu which he struggled to even stand at times. However, to over come what was needed to win, Michael Jordan led his team to a 90-88 win, recording 38 points, 7 rebounds, 5 assists.

In will to get the victory, Michael Jordan wore the classic Air Jordan 12 Black/Varsity Red. The shoe was originally released in 1997, but later retroed in 2003 and 2009, which earn them the name, “Flu Game”. Was this one of the most memorable games you have ever witness? If you were to young to witness, does this history make you appreciate the sneaker that much more?
