Sneaker Talk: Let’s Talk – Air Jordan XVI (16) “Ginger”

The Air Jordan XVI (16) was a rebirth to the Jordan Brand after releasing a down-fall Air Jordan XV. The “Ginger” Air Jordan XVI was one of the more demanded pair that featured the Washington Wizards color-sheme. The “Ginger” AJ 16 was the only pair that featured a full-suede upper in a Golden colorway. Did you happen to pass on this release when they dropped back in 2001?

Where do you rank the Air Jordan XVI (16) in your head amongst the full 1-23 Collection? Do you think it’s time to see them retro (but not in a pack)? If Jordan Brand did, would you want to re-cop the “Ginger” Air Jordan XVI? Lastly, what did you think of the whole removable strap that these featured?
