Jordan Brand originally released the Air Jordan 6/11 “Defining Moments Pack” in January of 2006. Some samples of the Air Jordan 11 leaked out which featured the word “Jordan” written in Gold going down the eyelets. Jordan Brand pushed back the original release twice before actually debuting them to the public, due to the Gold eyelets bleeding which is why the DMP didn’t include the “wanted” Gold eyelets.
However, Jordan Brand did end up releasing a couple of those Air Jordan 11 “Gold Eyelets” version in the DMP to select Nike Factory stores. If your were one of those lucky purchasers to have cop’d the “Gold Eyelets” Air Jordan 11 than consider yourself extremely lucky. With that being said, wouldn’t it be nice to actually see JB get it right and give us an official release of the Air Jordan 11 Retro “Gold Eyelets”?
