Following Sneaker Politics release of “The Cannon” edition, both brands are back with an encore version of the Sneaker Politics x Saucony Courageous “The Jackson” collaboration.
Celebrating the 200th anniversary of the bloody Battle Of New Orleans, the latest installment pays homage to Jackson, this Saucony Courageous takes its color palette right off his shoulders. The uppers consist of Navy and Cream Velvet suede and Gold leather. The tongue features a perforated leather tongue tab with a Gold printed icon of Jackson on the front topped off with 3M piping.
Each insole features a flag sewn in to the heel. The right being the flag of the Americans and the left features the flag of Cartagena which the infamous pirate Jean Lafitte flew over his ships. All this sits on top of a blood Red outsole dirtied by Jackson as he made his way through the battlefield.
