Skechers Basketball is taking another major step into the performance hoops space with a new league-wide partnership with the WNBA. The deal strengthens the brand’s connection to women’s basketball while giving Skechers a larger platform during one of the league’s biggest eras of growth.

Jackie Young, Rickea Jackson, and Kiki Iriafen have also joined the Skechers Basketball roster, giving the brand a strong mix of proven talent and rising star power. Young brings championship experience, while Jackson and Iriafen represent the next wave of WNBA talent.

The timing adds more weight to the announcement. The WNBA is celebrating its 30th Anniversary while experiencing major growth in popularity, attendance, and viewership. That momentum has helped push the league into a new chapter, with players gaining more attention, stronger visibility, and better business opportunities.

Skechers only entered the basketball category in 2023, but its moves have been aggressive. The brand has continued building its athlete roster while positioning itself as a serious name in performance basketball. However, no signature shoe has been announced yet for Young, Jackson, or Iriafen.
