Salehe Bembury has another SPUNGE sneaker on the way called the Lumina, and there’s still plenty of the Osmosis in its shape. The bigger change is the Mono-Mesh upper, which helps cut the weight by 15% compared to the previous model.

Overlapping sections of semi-translucent mesh let you see how the upper is put together. Around the laces, the thick padding found on the Osmosis is gone, giving that area a less bulky look. The familiar Squish Tech cushioning stays, though it now sits inside a cage that wraps around the entire system.

Green, blue, and purple run across the first “Cenote” colorway, with some of those shades showing through the overlapping panels. Between the see-through material and the new eyestay construction, the upper accounts for much of what separates this pair from the Osmosis.
