Since then, a steady stream of single-color versions has satisfied sneaker enthusiasts. Recognizing his pivotal role, Crocs appointed Bembury as the creative director of Pollex Pod this year. Together, they introduced the Crocs Pollex Slide and are now poised to reveal yet another fresh design.

Recently, Bembury offered a sneak peek at an upcoming collaborative silhouette, showcasing an embossed “Crocs Salehe Bembury” logo. Crocs’ brand president had previously expressed excitement about expanding their partnership into new and dynamic silhouettes. It seems they’re wasting no time in doing just that. This latest creation stands out with its vibrant color palette, featuring soft pink, deep navy, and a semi-translucent layer in green and blue, a departure from previous releases.

UPDATE 11/26/23: According to Salehe Bembury, the Crocs Pollex shoe will release in Spring/Summer 2024.

The latest look showcases a tooling design inspired by fingerprints, reminiscent of previous collaborations between Bembury and the Colorado-based footwear brand. While the upper maintains a traditional shoe construction, there hasn’t been an official name revealed for the model by any of the parties involved. However, it is conceivable that the upcoming release takes inspiration from both running sneakers and low-top hiking boots, evident in features such as the mesh inner-lining, medial shank, and perforated overlays across the upper.
