Paying homage to the “Steel Blue” New Balance 1300, Ronnie Fieg reveals an upcoming New Balance 992 in the OG color blocking.
This edition of the New Balance 992 comes constructed in a mix of leather, mesh, and suede materials. It features a Light Blue mesh base with Navy suede overlays and a Cream-colored leather in the rear. Signature “N” logos on the sides with “USA” branded onto the heels completes the design.

UPDATE 5/20: Both the “Steel Blue”-inspired New Balance 992 and 998 will release this Friday, May 22nd as part of Kith’s latest Spring 2 collection on Kith.com. Fieg also announced that these pairs are part of a five-sneaker collection with three other pairs scheduled to launch soon after. Stay tuned for more updates.
UPDATE 5/19: In addition to the New Balance 992, Ronnie Fieg has teased a new iteration of the New Balance 998 that also borrows inspiration from the “Steel Blue” 1300. Both styles will release as pat of Kith’s Spring 2020 collection, but a date has yet to be announced.
