Nike Basketball first debuted the Nike Kobe 4 in 2008, which was the first low-cut and lightweight design for both Kobe and Nike Basketball.

As a tribute to Kobe Bryant’s MVP award in the 2009 NBA Finals, Nike Basketball will celebrate the release of the “MVP Finals” Nike Kobe 4 Prelude on Saturday, December 28th at select locations, including Nike.com.
