[Release Reminder] Air Jordan XX8 “Westbrook OKC Pack”

Published on

When the Air Jordan XX8 first released, Russell Westbrook was chosen to rep Jordan Brand’s latest flagship sneaker throughout the NBA season. Fortunately for fans, one of the PE’s he wore on court will be available to the public along with two other colorways inspired by him and the Oklahoma City Thunder. Since the XX8 uses a synthetic textile upper, there are endless design possibilities, from cut-out designs to large graphics. Westbrook’s pack takes advantage of the shoe’s versatility with these three unique colorways.

First, we have the white perforated XX8 PE Westbrook often wore during home games. With the cut-out design, this colorway achieves a look many may have never seen on a performance sneaker. The orange outsole and the blue zipper outline give this clean colorway the proper OKC treatment. What’s even more unique about this XX8 is that the left shoe has an orange bootie while the right shoe has a blue bootie.

Second, we have a blue based XX8 that quotes Westbrook’s well known motto,”Why Not?”. Not often will you see a sneaker be able to display words and phrases quite like this. Again, orange takes over the outsole and blue works the zipper outline. This colorway is simple, but also bold and loud. Will you rock these? “Why Not?”

Last, but definitely not least, an orange based XX8 with a camo-like design in blue and white finishes up the “Westbrook Pack”. Off the court, Westbrook is notorious for his style which often includes wild patterns and prints so it is only appropriate that this colorway would fall under his name. Unlike the other two colorways in this pack, this particular pair uses a white outsole and a black bootie.

The Air Jordan XX8 “Westbrook Pack” will release Saturday, June 8th at House of Hoops by Foot Locker locations and Footlocker.com (starting at 8:00 a.m. EST) for $250 each. Check the Launch Locator to see which stores will carry this release.
