Reebok is entering the carbon-plated racing shoe category with the SpeedShifter, a new $220 model built for faster workouts and race day. The brand is getting there later than most, but the price is a little easier to take than some of the super shoes already sitting at the top of the market.
A full-length carbon fiber AccelerPlate sits inside the midsole, with HYPERFLOAT foam layered above and below it. The new ATPU-based foam is there to add some spring and cushioning without making the shoe feel too soft once you start pushing the pace.
Up top, the build stays light with a thin, breathable upper and very little extra material. A three-piece high-abrasion rubber outsole covers the bottom for traction and durability, while the shoe comes in at 7.4 ounces with an 8mm heel-to-toe drop.
The Reebok SpeedShifter releases October 20, 2026, through Reebok.com and select retailers for $220.
