Mattel has added Angel Reese to its Barbie Signature lineup, giving the WNBA star a doll built around the style and personality she has carried from LSU into the pros.

The figure wears a pink basketball uniform and comes dressed in a miniature pair of the Reebok Angel Reese 1 “Barbie” edition. Fans will also be able to buy the same colorway in adult and kids’ sizing when the shoe arrives next month.

Reese has been tied to the Barbie name since her “Bayou Barbie” nickname took off during LSU’s championship season. It followed her into the WNBA, where she has continued to build a name in basketball while moving further into fashion, business, and entertainment.

She described the doll as a dream come true and said she hopes it shows young girls that they should stay confident, be themselves, and refuse to let other people set limits for them.

Mattel also highlighted the work being done through the Angel C. Reese Foundation. The organization supports girls and underserved communities with programs centered on sports, education, and financial literacy.

The launch will be celebrated during WNBA All-Star Weekend in Chicago with the Angel Reese Dream Closet, a two-day pop-up hosted by Barbie, Reebok, and TOGETHXR. Visitors can see the doll and sneakers, take photos inside a life-size Barbie box, and shop a small collection of jerseys, shirts, and headwear.

The Angel Reese Barbie Doll is available now through Target, Walmart, Amazon, and the Mattel Shop. The Reebok Angel Reese 1 “Barbie” releases August 3 at 10 a.m. ET through Reebok, Dick’s Sporting Goods, and Foot Locker.
