The PUMA MB.05 “Skull” carries a heavier energy than most releases, leaning into atmosphere over brightness.

What hits first is the layered purple upper. The lavender base fades into deeper amethyst tones, giving the shoe a worn, smoky look. It doesn’t feel flat. It feels lived in. The jagged, torn-edge detailing along the side panels adds to that effect, like the shoe was stitched back together after something wild.

The strap system across the midfoot adds structure and carries the raised “Not From Here” text. It feels more like a signature mark than branding. The lightning-style graphic on the tongue keeps the energy moving without crowding the design.

Down below, the sculpted midsole flows in waves. It keeps the shape active without trying too hard. “One of One” appears near the forefoot and heel, quietly reinforcing LaMelo’s identity. The outsole finishes things off with sharp traction and a molded skull at the heel, giving the nickname real meaning.
