The PUMA LaFrance RNR “Poison Pink” brings the type of energy that hits you at first glance.

Continuing his off-court LaFrancé sub-label, Ball takes color and form to another extreme with the RNR. Poison Pink, Pale Pink, and Fluro Pink come layered together in the upper, their multi-tonal appearance constantly moving in different lights. The addition of perforated textures and added mesh panels offer dimension to an otherwise flat appearance.

Ball also referenced prior releases in the LaFrancé catalog with a sculpted cage overlay. The biggest moment comes on the exaggerated midsole, with puffy, bubble-like cutouts. LF branding at the tongue and heel is a bit gothic but never quite obnoxious.

The shoes are the type of piece that demands walk-in-the-room respect instead of blending into the crowd.

The Puma LaFrance RNR “Poison Pink” releases on December 5th through PUMA.com and retailers for $125.
