One of the most popular Nike SB Dunk Low releases was the “Pigeon” launch from 2005 designed by Jeff Staple. For 2017, Jeff and Nike Skateboarding debuted the “Black Pigeon” iteration, which was a Black version of the original release.
In 2018, Jeff took it to social media to share a never-before-seen White and Black “Pigeon” Nike SB Dunk Low Sample. That sample will eventually end up releasing in 2019.
This “Pigeon” SB Dunk Low comes dressed in a Black, Green Gusto, and White color scheme. It features a Black and White upper with the signature “Pigeon” logo on the heels. Other details includes branded insoles and graphic newspaper-inspired translucent outsole. The skate shoe also redesigns the traditional “Sample, Not For Resale” with “Staple, Not For Resell” on the inner lining.

Rejected Sample No. 2.
Made two major 11th hour decisions right before production started.
1. Put our brand logos aside & respect the OGs with the original Zoom Air sock liner art.
2. Make the Swoosh on the tongue—ONLY THE SWOOSH—Pigeon Pink.

These beauties were 99% there. But in the end, they didn't make the final cut. Can anyone spot the subtle difference between these & the finished product?#devilisinthedetails https://t.co/HxAZyzeJ8I pic.twitter.com/4PJvvEU1cQ— jeffstaple (@jeffstaple) February 5, 2018
