Amsterdam-based sneaker and streetwear retailer Patta is celebrating its 20th anniversary this year. To mark this milestone, Patta is bringing back one of its most iconic collaborations with Nike: the Patta x Nike Air Max 1 “Chlorophyll.” This highly anticipated release is set to return in Fall 2024.

The Patta x Nike Air Max 1 “Chlorophyll” retains its classic design, featuring a blend of Chlorophyll and Matte Silver colors. The sneaker’s construction includes a breathable mesh base, nubuck overlays, and denim accents. Its White base is complemented by Grey overlays, with signature Chlorophyll accents on the Swoosh logos, mudguards, tongue labels, upper eyelets, the front toe area of the sole, and the back heel “Nike Air” embroidered branding. Completing the design is a White midsole with visible Air units in the heels, atop a White and Black rubber outsole.

This special edition will come housed in a celebratory “20th Anniversary” box, adding to the exclusivity and collectibility of the release.

Patta Nike Air Max 1 Chlorophyll 2024 Release Date

The Patta x Nike Air Max 1 “Chlorophyll” will release on September 13, 2024. It will be available exclusively through Patta. Available in men’s sizing the retail price tag is set at $160 USD.

UPDATE 9/5/24: Patta and Nike have confirmed the upcoming launch of the Air Max 1 “Chlorophyll” 20th Anniversary edition. This exclusive release will be available starting September 13th through pattaxnike.com and at Patta’s chapter stores. Early in-store access will be offered on September 12th at the Patta chapter store in Lagos, Nigeria.

UPDATE 8/24/24: Here’s a comparison between the 5th Anniversary edition and the upcoming 20th Anniversary release. The 2024 version sports a more vibrant shade of green and includes fresh graphic insoles. The pair is expected to release on September 13th.

UPDATE 7/14/24: Patta co-founders Edson Sabajo and Guillaume ‘Gee’ Schmidt posted a joint Instagram photo today with Nigerian singer Tems. Both Sabajo and Schmidt showcased the Patta x Nike Air Max 1 “Chlorophyll” on their feet. In the same image, Tems held a Nike shoebox adorned with chlorophyll green and 20th anniversary text. This confirms Patta’s celebration and the upcoming release.
