PaisaBoys went pretty wild with its Nike SB P-Rod 1. There are a bunch of different colors and materials mixed across the shoe, and almost every section has something different going on. The whole look ties back to the brand’s Mexican-American background without feeling like it was built around one single theme.

Joey Barba and Javier Bandera started PaisaBoys in Los Angeles back in 2016, and that background shows up all over this pair. Yellow snakeskin is used on the medial Swoosh, the toe box comes in blue alligator, and brown ostrich wraps around the front and heel. Red alligator, mixed red and blue eyelets, and bright green heels make the shoe even more mismatched.

The smaller details carry just as much of the story. Silver lace dubraes are shaped like belt buckles and come with scorpion graphics, while more scorpions appear underneath the outsoles and glow in the dark. PaisaBoys branding is also worked into the tongue tags and insoles.

A lot of the material choices connect back to Mexican vaquero and charro style, where alligator, snakeskin, and ostrich have been used for years on boots, belts, and other pieces. That makes the mix of exotic textures feel like more than just a way to make the shoe stand out.

The P-Rod 1 also makes sense for the project. Paul Rodriguez is Mexican-American and came up skating in Los Angeles, giving the collaboration another connection to the same culture and city behind PaisaBoys.

PaisaBoys Nike SB P-Rod 1 Release Date

The PaisaBoys x Nike SB P-Rod 1 is expected to release during Holiday 2026 through SNKRS, PaisaBoys, and select skate shops. The shoe will come in men’s sizing and retail for $135.
