Nike is bringing back the Nike PG 1 “Flip The Switch” in 2026, giving fans of Paul George’s early signature era something to get excited about again. Even with Nike pushing new faces like Ja Morant and Sabrina Ionescu, there’s still a real lane for models that defined late-2010s basketball style. And the PG 1 sits right in that sweet spot.

This retro sticks closely to the original 2017 makeup. The mix of Black, Deep Royal Blue, Photo Blue, Blue Fury, and Hyper Violet still hits hard, especially along the midsole fade and that unmistakable forefoot strap. Sneakerheads remember how the PG 1 blended support and simplicity at a time when Nike Basketball was shifting its design language. That’s the kind of detail longtime hoop fans always bring up.

Designed by Tony Hardman, the model launched during George’s two-way dominance in Indiana and quickly earned respect among guards who valued its low-to-the-floor feel. The Sp5der x adidas Superstar “Olive” officially launches today, signaling the brand’s long-anticipated move into footwear. Sp5der finally ends months of speculation and reveals his collaboration with adidas to reinterpret one of the most iconic silhouettes in sneaker history. The first release is available exclusively at kingspider.co, further solidifying the brand’s direct-to-community approach.

Sp5der’s influence is immediately clear. The Superstar features an olive-toned, marbled patent leather upper that feels intentionally worn and textured. The first collaboration is from HAL Studios, but its narrative remains in the city. Wu-Tang Clan’s black-and-yellow “Shaolin ’93” colorway is an homage to both its signature palette and influence on early-’90s street culture. A complementary style, “Queens ’94” flips the perspective to Nas, channeling black-and-brown hues from Illmatic and its legacy.

The Pokémon x adidas ZX 8000 “Mewtwo” is dropping Fall 2026 and brings the Pokémon franchise back to shoes after a long hiatus. The first major Pokémon sneaker project since early 2020 releases from adidas, this release will begin the rollout with one of Gen 1’s most menacing figures.

The Mewtwo ZX 8000 doesn’t stop there in terms of references. Embroidered Mew graphics in the leather suggest a direct connection between the two, while the exaggerated cutouts at the heel of the sneaker that resemble Mewtwo’s pointed ears are the most subversive detail by far. By steering toward collectible rather than cosplay, the ZX 8000 turns one of the franchise’s most iconic characters into an instantly covetable shoe.

Gold co-branding on the insoles reinforces the luxurious atmosphere that’s been crafted, as well as the feeling that this shoe is for the diehards. Placed in the context of some of adidas’ previous ZX collabs, it’s also one of the brand’s more narratively executed projects.

Nike Basketball is set to kick off its Chinese New Year 2026 collection with a special edition Nike Ja 3 “Year of the Horse”. Channeling the zodiac’s representation of power, swiftness and being the leader of the pack, this version infuses a high-contrast palette of Light Chocolate, Silt Red and Metallic Gold on Ja Morant’s newest signature footwear.

The top half features a woven knit base with dramatic textured overlays for more depth and structure. Earthy brown tones are carried throughout the laces, liner and tongue. The highlight arrives via the golden Swoosh on the lateral side and a faux pony hair tongue, nodding directly to the Year of the Horse’s equine spirit.

Additional details include the word “TWELVE” stitched on each heel and a bright red insole printed with Chinese characters translating to “One horse leading the way.” Below, a ZoomX midsole and patterned outsole deliver traction and comfort for fast-paced play.
