Nike Unveils The Zoom Freak 3

Reigning two-time MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo’s next signature shoe, the Zoom Freak 3, has begun to surface ahead of its official launch.

This offering of the Nike Zoom Freak 3 brings back the reverse Swoosh branding from the Air Zoom Freak 1, but instead of being place on the midsole, it now appears on the collar. Another new feature include a midfoot strap, something we’ve seen on other signature models.

UPDATE 6/29: Nike Basketball has officially unveiled Giannis Antetokounmpo’s third signature shoe, the Zoom Freak 3.

Similar to the first two Zoom Freak models, the Freak 3 was designed to support Giannis’ unique style of play – paint game. The model features a leather and textile upper with a midfoot strap to help lock down the forefoot. Dual Zoom Air bags at the forefoot of the midsole for on-court responsiveness completes the design.

“One of the hallmarks of his athleticism is transferring energy quickly from leg to leg to maneuver his body through gaps,” said Ross Klein, Nike’s Senior Creative Director for Men’s Performance Footwear. “Giannis works his foot like a gas and brake. He also works all different angles of his foot as he’s driving to the basket, so we wanted to contour the design to fit the way he transitions from step to step.”

Look for the Nike Zoom Freak 3 in its Black and Purple “Project 34” colorway and in an Orange makeup to release on July 1st at select Nike Basketball retailers globally followed by a wider release in North America sometime in August.

The Nike Giannis Immortality is Giannis Antetokounmpo’s new sub-line model that surfaces in a new colorway that matches Milwaukee’s “City Edition” jersey.

The shoe features various shades of Blues used throughout its entire shoe with Black appearing on the heel, liner, insole, and portion of the rubber outsole. Other details includes an embroidered Swoosh on the medial, Antetokounmpo’s “A” logo on the tongue and number “34” on the toe completes the design.

Reebok Beatnik Earth GW2811 Water GX8141 Release Date

Reebok is unveiling a new iteration of the cult-favorite Beatnik with the “Natural Dye” collection.

The line features two colorways – “Beige” and “Blue” – both of which are meant to represent natural elements of the earth (the former) and water (the latter). Each shoe incorporates a unique mountain design illustration on the midfoot and heel straps inspired by the traditional outdoor adventure straps used to secure your belongings while hiking, sailing, kayaking and more.

The “Natural Dye” Beatniks are constructed with a canvas that undergoes a natural dye process creating a slight color variation throughout the fabric, meaning each pair will be unique in color.

This collection comes after the silhouette’s original introduction in the Fall 1994 outdoor line-up which made waves with its aggressive shark tooth-like sole and closed toe upper. The Beatnik was brought back in 2020 and will drop in additional colorways throughout the FW21 season.

Palace and Vans have teamed up for the very first time to release a new collaborative footwear and apparel collection.

This collection is highlighted with a tiro of Vans Authentic styles with each pair featuring a repeating duck graphic dressed in Salmon, Black, or White color options. Other details includes both brands’ signature logos stamped onto its White vulcanized that’s completed with a Gum rubber outsole.

In addition to the footwear, Palace and Vans will also be releasing co-branded long-sleeve t-shirts in the same color palettes.

This offering of the adidas Montreal 76 comes dressed in a Yellow and Red color scheme nodding to the colors of the main protagonist in the series, Saitama.
