Released in December 2017, the Air Jordan 6 “Gatorade” was inspired by the iconic “Be Like Mike” Gatorade commercial from 1991.

Dressed in a Summit White, Black, and Team Orange color scheme. The design of this Air Jordan 6 is reminiscent of the silhouette’s OG “Carmine” colorway, featuring a White leather upper with Orange nubuck replacing the Red of the original. Green accents on the lace locks and Jumpman branding completes the sport-drink theme.

As part of his Jordan Brand endorsement deal, Dallas Mavericks superstar, Luka Doncic, will be getting his own signature shoe, the Luka 1, releasing in 2022.

While no leaked photos have surfaced, below are several upcoming color options of the Luka 1 that will begin releasing this Summer 2022. There are also rumors of an alternate name – the Sly Fox, but it looks like a smart move for Jordan Brand to stay with Luka 1 for branding purposes.

UPDATE 4/23: Jordan Brand has revealed Luka Doncic’s first signature sneaker, the Jordan Luka 1.

The Luka 1 is designed for the deceptive, off-speed play of Luka Dončić, featuring a new IsoPlate system with full-length Formula 23 performance foam in the midsole. The shoe follows a long line of innovative Jordan Brand performance systems, like the Flight Plate in the Air Jordan XXVIII and the Eclipse Plate debuted in the Air Jordan XXXIV.

How the tech works: The IsoPlate foot frame wraps up the lateral forefoot to keep players contained over the footbed, helping secure the foot when going from front to back. The Formula 23 foam provides a lightweight, responsive ride and helps propel the player during side-to-side movement — think a step-back, a Euro step, a crossover, or even a defensive slide. Breathable Flightwire cables on the lateral side of the upper also help contain the foot.
