New Balance Officially Unveils The Kawhi 3

New Balance and two-time NBA champion, five-time NBA All-Star and three-time All-NBA First Team player, Kawhi Leonard announced the release of the latest Kawhi signature shoe: the Kawhi 3.

Made for athletes at the peak of their power, a trio of insights from Kawhi guided New Balance designers in the development of the Kawhi 3: responsive, explosive, and lightweight. The shoe was built to bring the creativity of Kawhi to life. Kawhi’s incomparable two-way game informed the shoe’s streamlined look, lightweight upper, and full-length FuelCell cushioning. The debut colorway, Alpha Predator, takes inspiration from Kawhi’s dominance on the court similar to the apex predator who sits at the top of the food chain allowing him to the attack without fear of anyone getting in his way.

It features a lightweight textile upper and synthetic construction, along with a seamless half-bootie that’s connected to the tongue. The seamless method is also utilized at the heel with a molded adapt component that provides a more locked in and stable fit. FuelCell cushioning returns and is paired with Energy Arc, sport-specific carbon fiber plate geometry with strategic midsole voids designed to increase stored energy and deliver a higher return.

“Working with the New Balance design team is always exciting,” said Leonard. “The Kawhi 3 brings new technology that allows me to take my game to the next level, and that’s super important to me and I am excited for other players to be able to experience it.”

2023’s Heineken x Nike Collab Will Not Be An SB Shoe

Originally released in March 2003 inspired by the signature Green bottles used by the Dutch beer brand. The Nike SB Dunk Low “Heineken” is rumored to return in a “2.0” iteration during Spring 2023.

While not an official collaboration with the beer brand, this offering of the Nike SB Dunk Low will feature a similar color blocking as the classic 2003 Silver box classic. It’ll come constructed in a leather, mesh, and suede build featuring a White base with Green overlays, Black Swooshes and Red contrasting accents.

Jordan Brand will be bringing back the Air Jordan 13 “Playoffs” in 2023 celebrating the model’s 25th Anniversary.

Originally debuted by Michael Jordan during the 1998 NBA All-Star Game as well as wearing them during the Bulls playoff run and on MJ’s way to his sixth championship. Last seen in 2011, 2023 will be the colorways second retro release.

Dressed in a Black, True Red, and White color scheme. This offering of the Air Jordan 13 will be true to the OG 1998 release.
