Bad Bunny Joins Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS for adidas F1 Puerto Rico Event

Adidas Originals, Bad Bunny, and Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS are making history by bringing the high-speed thrill of Formula 1 to Puerto Rico for the first time.

On Wednesday, August 2, the celebration begins at 9 a.m. with a car demo run by the Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS F1 Team crew over Puente Dos Hermanos. The Formula 1 car used by the team can also be viewed up close. In addition, one-of-a-kind Mercedes racing memorabilia from the Mercedes-Benz motorsports archive is also on display.

Bad Bunny, however, is the real headline here. The Puerto Rican artist is the latest to join the family as he signs with Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS Formula One Team. The announcement is the opening salvo in a series of upcoming, co-branded merchandise and footwear from the trio of Bad Bunny, Mercedes-AMG, and adidas.

What we’re witnessing here is a brand and cultural crossover of motorsport, music, and streetwear never seen before.

LeBron James Debuts The Nike LeBron 23

UPDATE 7/31/25: LeBron James just shared a fresh look at his upcoming Nike LeBron 23 via Instagram Stories. Unlike the earlier all-black wear-test pair, this teaser reveals blue laces with orange lace tips and a matching blue insole, adding some vibrant color to the mix. The Nike LeBron 23 is expected to launch in Holiday 2025 with a retail price of $210 USD. Official images, tech specs, and more colorways are expected to be revealed soon.

Original Story 7/28/25:
LeBron James is getting ready for his 23rd NBA season, and with that comes his new signature, the Nike LeBron 23. As usual, LeBron has already been photographed testing an all-black wear-test sample of the sneaker on the court, building anticipation for what he’s prepared to unleash this season.

The LeBron 23, first seen during an exclusive private training session, is a low-top that continues the silhouette language that was first introduced in the LeBron 20. It features a leaner, more angular silhouette with a chunkier wraparound midsole and a more streamlined forefoot. A key design element that hints at LeBron’s past and present branding is the crown-shaped wraparound midsole.

Nike has not released official tech details on the LeBron 23 yet, but we expect it to be equipped with the latest and greatest in performance tooling. It will likely feature a cushioning system that utilizes a blend of Cushlon foam and Zoom Air to provide a plush, responsive ride that is among the best in the game. These updates are an evolution of the sneaker that worked in the LeBron 21 and LeBron 20, but pushes the shoe into a bolder, more aggressive shape.

This initial drop was made available in a matte black upper with carbon fiber-inspired overlays. These overlays could be the sign of an elevated materials package for a future retail release. The outsole tread also looks specifically designed for quick, side-to-side agility as LeBron continues to reimagine how he moves within the game.

The Nike LeBron 23 is set to release in Holiday 2025 for $210 USD. More colorways and details will be revealed as we approach the sneaker’s release.

Skepta x PUMA Skope “Black” Releases August 14th

UK grime legend Skepta continues his momentum in fashion with the upcoming Skepta x PUMA Skope “Black”. Building on his successful run with the Skope silhouette, this latest version drops the mesh for a sleeker, fully blacked-out leather upper.

Known for his eye for detail, Skepta elevates the Skope with luxury-grade materials. The silhouette keeps its trail-inspired DNA with a chunky outsole and aggressive midsole carving, but now gets a clean, monochromatic finish. Hexagon Skepta logos appear on the tongue and insole, while hits of red and green PUMA branding add subtle contrast.

This isn’t Skepta’s first foray into sneaker design. Earlier in 2025, he dropped the “White Pack” and a series of mid-top Skope colorways that leaned into rugged, outdoorsy vibes. The Skepta x PUMA Skope Black colorway, on the other hand, is a departure in that sense, the design is sleeker, more minimal, and primed for the streets.

If you’ve followed Skepta’s previous collaborations with Nike, you’ll know his design work never misses. This all-black sneaker is no exception as it manages to look more mature, more refined and better constructed for longevity.

The Skepta x PUMA Skope “Black” releases on August 14, 2025, at select PUMA retailers and PUMA.com. Retail price is set at $160 USD.

Original Story 7/29/25:
Jordan Brand has gone all in for the 40th anniversary. As part of a collaboration with Bandai Namco, the sneaker behemoth is releasing collectible-centered projects based around the Air Jordan 1 High ’85 silhouette.

Nike Kobe 9 Elite Low Protro “Moonwalker” Releases September 2025

UPDATE 7/15/25: New photos of the Kobe 9 Elite Low Protro “Moonwalker” have surfaced ahead of its confirmed release on September 10, 2025, for $220 USD. The highly-anticipated colorway pays tribute to Kobe Bryant’s legacy and Michael Jackson’s iconic Moonwalk.

Original Story 2/10/25:
The Nike Kobe 9 Elite Low Protro “Moonwalker” is set to return in September 2025. First released in 2014, this pair honors Michael Jackson’s cultural impact while celebrating Kobe Bryant’s creative drive.

A deep Hyper Grape Flyknit upper gives the sneaker its unmistakable look. The color nods to Jackson’s stage presence, while the translucent sole shows off a moonrock graphic—a subtle callback to the moonwalk.

Silver detailing on the Swoosh adds shine without going over the top. Black laces and a padded liner create balance, both visually and functionally.

Beneath it all, Nike’s Protro upgrade improves the ride with updated cushioning. The carbon fiber plate remains intact, giving players the support they remember.

Kobe’s ninth signature shoe was ahead of its time in both tech and style. This “Moonwalker” edition reminds fans why it stood out then—and why it still matters now.

More than just a sneaker, this release bridges performance and pop culture in a way few others have. It’s built to hoop but made to remember.

Jean Paul Gaultier x Crocs Collection Revealed

Crocs has just announced their newest collaboration with renowned French designer Jean Paul Gaultier. The Crocs x Jean Paul Gaultier collection is part of Crocs’ mission to move beyond utilitarian to high fashion. This season they’ve created capsule collections with Simone Rocha and Balenciaga, and their most recent collaboration includes three styles that are a perfect fusion of fashion and function.

First, there’s a Classic Clog that’s been clad in black faux leather with an oversized safety pin, customized with the “Gaultier” logo. The Bae Clog is a bit more on the shocking side with wavy textile paneling, sneaker-like lacing system and a chunky platform sole that’s finished with a midfoot buckle. Finally, a new clog design is included in the collaboration. This one is finished with an elaborate black and white paisley pattern accented with off-white trim. It’s a direct callback to Gaultier’s own personal brand of embellishment.

With Gaultier’s signature boldness and Crocs’ deconstructionist vision, this collection is as unexpected as it is comfortable.

You can expect the collection to launch soon via Crocs.com, JeanPaulGaultier.com and select retailers worldwide.

Air Jordan 1 Low Inspired By “Panda” Colorways

Jordan Brand revives a crowd favorite with the release of Air Jordan 1 Low “Panda” dropping in Fall 2025.

For the most part, this iteration of the silhouette will maintain the overall monochrome color scheme that helped make the “Panda” moniker so popular. The introduction of a dark brown Swoosh and heel collar provides a bit of contrast. It also helps warm up the color scheme just enough without taking too much away from the OG aesthetic.

The upper is constructed of white leather underlays and black overlays. A black nylon tongue with matching laces and brown stitched Wings logo round out the design. A white midsole and black rubber outsole combine for a fresh aesthetic while also providing a steady performance with comfortable cushioning and reliable traction.

The Air Jordan 1 Low “Panda” drops Fall 2025 at Nike.com and select retailers for $120 USD.

The overall design provides a clean look that goes with nearly every wardrobe while still offering a unique flavor.

Nike Pegasus Premium “Pink Foam” Brings Bubblegum Vibes

Nike is blowing bubbles with the Pegasus Premium “Pink Foam,” which will drop this Fall 2025. Showered in Bubblegum pink throughout, from mesh upper to foam outsole, this tonal sneaker makes a statement in bright monochrome. A molded Off Noir Swoosh slithers across the midfoot while accents of Hyper Pink pep up the rear midsole.

Breathable engineered mesh is present, as well as reinforcements to the eyestay and toe, for durable longevity where it’s needed most. Zoom Air unit for underfoot cushioning slides across the full length of the midsole, tucked inside a black trim that cleanly disrupts the pastel upper.

The Nike Pegasus Premium “Pink Foam” will release Fall 2025 for $220 USD on Nike.com and at select retail outlets.

From the mini Swoosh at the toe to the branded pull tab at the heel, there’s nothing on this Pegasus that strays from Nike’s clean formula. Regardless if you’re pounding the track or running them casually, this pair is a showstopper.

Pharrell x adidas AdiZero EVO SL Pack Comes With Humanrace Branding

Pharrell Williams and adidas are back, this time remixing the Adizero EVO SL in Humanrace flavor.

The colorways included in the drop are a vibrant “Footwear White” and a stealthy “Core Black.” The upper in each shoe includes tri-colored 3-Stripes, available in Semi Court Green, Semi Lucid Blue, and bronze.

The Humanrace logo debuts on the sockliners and on the lateral heels of the shoe. The color-blocking is bold, but the design remains sleek.

The performance elements of the EVO SL remain unchanged. The lightweight and padded upper and the responsive LIGHTSTRIKE PRO midsole give runners the support they need, while the rocker-style sole gives them speed and spring, no matter how they choose to use it.

adidas Samba Joins Sporty & Rich Once Again

Sporty & Rich returns to adidas and brings its signature suave edge to the classic Samba. This Summer 2025 drop is all about essentials, with just a touch of flair.

The shoe keeps things simple, with a white leather upper contrasted by off-white suede toe cap and collar lining. The iconic gum sole provides that timeless retro finish. It’s all tied together with that head-turning green and navy three-stripe ribbon branding, a sleek swap for adidas’ usual all-black stripes and a co-branded “Sporty & Rich” logo.

This collaboration isn’t going for a super heavily designed look, rather it’s playing on premium details and contrast to elegantly level-up the model. The green heel tab and tongue badge showcase the brand’s signature color palette.

The Sporty & Rich x adidas Samba will launch Summer 2025 on adidas.com and at select retail locations worldwide. More details and pricing will be revealed soon.

Nike Air Griffey Max 1 “Freshwater” Returns Summer 2026

Nike will be bringing back the iconic Nike Air Griffey Max 1 “Freshwater” colorway in Summer 2026 to celebrate the model’s 30th Anniversary. Originally released in 1996, the Griffey Max 1 was one of the first shoes to usher in a new generation of Nike cross-trainers that were associated with particular athletes.

The “Freshwater” colorway was one of the most popular colorways of the Griffey Max 1. While the model was originally worn by Ken Griffey Jr., the colorway is one of the more recognized for him due to the all-black and white color palette accented by teal that mimics Griffey’s time with the Seattle Mariners, bold forefoot Swoosh, and visible Max Air units on the sneaker.

The upcoming 2026 drop is true to the OG colorway. As the reissue will retain the original product SKU (DD8558-100). Expect the signature “24” strap, teal colored pull tabs, baseball-flame logo on the outsole, and everything on a white midsole with an all-black outsole.

Previously, the “Freshwater” was retroed back in 2009 and 2021, and both received positive response from the sneaker community. Overall, this is another opportunity for collectors who enjoy older silhouettes to reminisce back to Nike’s mid-’90s designs and own another piece of history.

Designs like the Griffey Max 1 helped set the tone for performance hybrids that are on the market today. Even though it is an old silhouette, it is still a popular model that showcases Nike’s powerful styling and nostalgia, something that cannot be rivaled.

Nike Air Griffey Max 1 Freshwater 2026 Release Date

The Nike Air Griffey Max 1 “Freshwater” will release in Summer 2026 at select Nike Sportswear retailers and Nike.com. The retail price will be $170 USD.
