First Look: Fear of God x adidas Basketball Sample

After a two years with Nike, Jerry Lorenzo took his talents to adidas back in December 2020. He is now leading adidas Basketball’s creative and business strategy globally, which will be forced on their performance basketball line. Today, we get our first look at what’s to come as a leaked Fear of God x adidas Basketball Sample has surfaced.

Jerry has already confirmed with Complex that these are not the basketball shoe from the Fear of God x adidas line that will be releasing. He also added that the performance line and ready-to-wear collection will officially be unveiled on April 19th during the Holiday Bowl showing of Fear of God’s 8th collection.

This shoe itself comes in a mid-cut design dressed in a mix of Black and Cream tones with a forefoot strap, Three Stripes branding on the toe, and Fear of God stamped beneath the adidas Trefoil logo. It also includes adidas’ Lightstrike foam cushioning.

With 4/20 right around the corner, Reebok will be releasing a new “Recreational Activities” collection that celebrates freethinking lifestyles.

This Reebok “Recreational Activities” pack includes four iconic models, the Nano X3, Pump TZ (Twilight Zone), Beatnik, LT Court, and the Classic Leather, each dressed in earthy colors and quality materials like wool, hemp, twill, and corduroy with nostalgic patterns like tie dye, bandana, paisley, and florals to celebrate the freethinkers, wanderers, and adventurers of then and now. A groovy alteration of Reebok’s brand wordmark ties the collection together, while the mix of materials, colors, and patterns tell a story unique to each shoe.

Heading into the new year, Nike Basketball is expected to release plenty of LeBron 20 colorways during the early months and into SS23.

This offering of the Nike LeBron 20 arrives in a Black and Gold color blocking. It features a Black knitted upper with double-stacked leather Swooshes on the lateral and special “XX” lace dubraes and insole branding. A White speckled midsole atop an icy translucent outsole completes the design.

As a follow up to 2019’s “More Than An Athlete” LeBron 17 and Air Force 1, LeBron James and business partner Maverick Carter’s Uninterrupted will be releasing a special collaborative LeBron 20 in 2023.

Dressed in a Black, Coconut Milk, Hyper Royal, and Topaz Gold color scheme. This offering of the Uninterrupted x Nike LeBron 20 features a Black base, White tongues and laces with Blue detailing along the inner bootie and heels atop an aged-like midsole. Other notable details includes clear double-stacked Swooshes, “Speak Your Truth” printed on the heel tabs, “Uninterrupted” buttons on the lateral heels, with repeated branding along the forefoot and translucent outsole that reads, “Speak” and “Truth” underfoot. The shoe also comes with extra set of laces and special packaging.

Nike Air Force 1 Low “Just Do It” Comes With Denim and Bouclé Panels

Bruce Kilgore’s legendary design, the Air Force 1, has come a long way since its original debut back in 1982. Recently, the popular silhouette has appeared in a new iteration sporting both denim and bouclé materials. For those that aren’t familiar with bouclé it’s basically a mix of looped yarns.

This offering of the Nike Air Force 1 Low features an Off White leather upper with signature perforations on the toe box. Highlighting the shoe are Denim Swooshes an heel tabs with woven tongues and Multi-Color bouclé on the side panels. Other details includes Pink “Just Do It” embroidery on the lateral side and tongue labels. A 3D-like “NIKE AIR” branding on the heels with oversized Swooshes on the insoles atop an Off White AF1 rubber sole completes the design.

Tinker Hatfield’s Air Max 90 was the second flagship sneaker for Nike following the Air Max 1. Adding to its lineup for Spring 2023 is this new “Flat Pewter/Obsidian” colorway that comes equipped with a mix of materials.

Following a look at a few colorways inspired by the Copa Football Boot, adidas Originals will be adding to their NMD S1 lineup with this new “Grey” colorway for Spring 2023.

Dressed in different Grey shades and Core Black. This offering of the adidas NMD S1 comes constructed with recycled materials featuring a knitted, sock-like upper that comes equipped with a new rework sole unit. It replaces the Boost cushioning for a more bulky, thick gel sole with traction teeth appearing on the outsole. The original EVA foam plugs have been replaced with a new slim style on the forefoot and heel.

We all know Michael Jordan literally was “Born To Fly,” which is why he earned the nickname, “His Airness,” after his incredible performances in the Slam Dunk contest, including his dunk from the free-throw line. For this latest release, the Air Jordan 1 Low “Flaming Swoosh” for kids, Jordan Brand wants you to believe you were also “Born To Fly.”

Dressed in a White, Black, University Red, and Orange Flame color scheme. This offering of the Air Jordan 1 Low comes constructed in a smooth and tumbled leather build with mesh tongues and lining. It features a White base with Black overlays up front and collars, Red in the rear and medial Swoosh with pops of Orange on the eyestays and tongue trim. During the March Madness tournament, Jordan Brand has been gifting their sponsored collegiate athletic departments with their own Air Jordan 1 Low OG PE (Player Exclusive). The latest school to receive their pairs are the Oklahoma Sooners.

Dressed in a White, Black, and Red color scheme giving off “Black Toe” vibes. This offering of the Air Jordan 1 Low features a Sail leather upper and tongues with Red safari textured Swooshes on the sides and Black cracked leather overlays. Other details includes quilted satin liners, Oklahoma’s “OU” logo stamped onto the insoles, along with mini embroidered Swooshes on the lateral forefoot. A New Greyscale Nike Air Max 90 On The Way

Designed by legendary Tinker Hatfield, the Air Max 90 became Nike’s second flagship sneaker following the Air Max 1. Two years out of celebrating its 35th Anniversary, the Air Max 90 is still a staple silhouette for the brand. Adding to its lineup heading into Summer 2023 is a new Greyscale colorway.

This offering of the Nike Air Max 90 comes constructed in a mix of mesh, suede, and smooth leather materials. While majority of the shoe is dressed in different shades of Grey, there are contrasting accents of Crimson Tint and Volt used on the branded areas, Air bubble, and insole. Nike’s pinwheel logo is stamped onto the insole indicating that this release is made from recycled fabrics. A White midsole atop a Grey rubber outsole completes the design.
