Back in 2022, AMBUSH brought back the basketball-inspired Air Adjust Force for a few collaborative releases. Coming fresh off the sandal-version of the shoe, Nike Sportswear continues to add to its general lineup with this “Light Bone” colorway.

Nike Adds The Air Max 1 To Their “Athletic Department” Pack

Coming fresh off its 35th Anniversary last year (2022), the celebration of the iconic Tinker Hatfield-designed Air Max 1 seems to continue into 2023 with several new color options as well as new takes on classics like a new version of the “Keep Rippin Stop Slippin” release. We’ve also got introduced to Nike’s latest “Athletic Department” collection this year, which will now include the Air Max 1.

Dressed in a White, Black Forest, Neutral Grey, and Varsity Maize color scheme. This offering of the Nike Air Max 1 comes constructed in a mix of materials. It features a White mesh base with Grey suede overlays at the vamp and midfoot panel, Black nubuck mudguards and leather Swooshes with a nylon material used along the collars. Highlighting the shoe are Yellow (Varsity Maize) contrasting accents on the upper eyelets, tongue branding, insoles, and portion of the rubber outsole. Christian Tresser’s iconic design, the Air Max 97, received a bit of an upgrade with the debut of the Air Max Terrascape 97. The shoe itself is made from at least 20% recycled materials by weight, nearly every detail is thoughtfully crafted with some recycled content.

Expanding on its lineup, this edition of the Nike Air Max 97 arrives in a new Sail and Black makeup. It comes constructed with a Sail mesh base, synthetic overlays, and Black leather Swooshes and details throughout. 3M reflective detailing with “Terrascape” branding on the heel tabs atop a Nike Grind midsole and White speckled outsole completes the design.

Nike Basketball debuted the Air Penny 2 during the 1996-97 NBA season as Penny Hardaway’s second signature shoe. Following a few collaborative releases already in the books, the Swoosh is now getting ready to release more GR (general release) colorways, such as this “Panda” makeup.

Dressed in a Light Bone, White, Black, and Photon Dust color blocking giving off that classic “Panda” vibe.
