Joining the anticipated “Chicago Split” Dunk Low, Nike Sportswear will also be releasing a “Chicago Split” colorway of the Air Trainer 1 for Summer 2023.

Dressed in a White, University Red, Black, and Coconut Milk color scheme. This offering of the Nike Air Trainer 1 features a White leather upper with neutral suede overlays. The “split” theme is used on the Black/Red Swooshes, tongue labels, insole and heel branding, while the medial side of the shoe stays clean. Nike Sportswear continues to connect to the youth with playful new designs and series that are much more than just having a pair of new kicks. Their latest “Unlock Your Space” encourages you to get creative, which now includes Bruce Kilgore’s iconic Air Force 1 Low.

This offering of the Nike Air Force 1 Low features a White leather upper with matching tongues and gradient tongue and inner lining. Other details includes graphic Swoosh logos, basketball alien characters in Silver on the lateral ankle and heel tabs with Black tongue labels. The “Unlock Your Space” motif is stamped onto the insoles atop a White midsole and icy translucent outsole to complete the design.

Nike Gets Groovy With The Air Max 1 Golf “Play To Live”

Nike Sportswear continues to get creative with their latest golf-ready lineup, and next up in the series is this latest Air Max 1 that could be nodding to The Open Championship, which is being held in Liverpool, England.

The brand gets a bit groovy with this latest Nike Air Max 1 Golf edition as it could tie back to the popular 60s music scene in Liverpool, where one of the biggest rock bands of all-time where from, The Beatles. The shoe features a groovy pattern used on the mudguards while having a clean White mesh base with suede overlays. Other details includes White Swooshes with the lateral having the phrase “Play To Live” debossed in retro 60s font, which is also present on the heel overlaps along with the phrase “Live To Play.” A psychedelic pattern on the insoles atop a semi translucent outsole where the monicker is repeated once again completes the design.

Two years later, they released its sequel, the Dunk Low Disrupt 2. For 2023, new colorways will be added to its lineup as we head into the warmer months of the year.

This offering of the Nike Dunk Low Disrupt 2 arrives in a mix of White, Jade Ice, and Total Orange color tones. It features a White leather base with a paisley-like canvas overlay in Jade Ice. James Lee, senior footwear designer at New Balance, teamed up with Yue Wu – who was known for creating the 2002R “Refined Future” pack – to give us the 9060. Getting ready for warmer months of the year, the brand has revealed an upcoming “Quartz Grey” colorway.

This offering of the New Balance 9060 comes constructed in a mix of mesh, leather, and suede materials. It features a White mesh base with Grey suede overlays and White leather used on the “N” logos and heel. Signature New Balance branding placements with a dual-density midsole featuring ABZORB and SBS cushioning atop a diamond outsole pattern inspired by classic 860 design.

Nike Dunk Low Setsubun DQ5009-268 Release Date Price

Japan’s annual Setsubun festival inspires Nike to release a special edition Dunk Low for the occasion.

Setsubun, also referenced as the Bean-Throwing Festival, is celebrated on the day before the beginning of spring in the old calendar in Japan. During the Festival, it is customary to throw handfuls of dry soybeans to scare away demons, while chanting “Demons out, good luck in!” This is performed to drive away evil spirits and welcome good fortune.

This offering of the Nike Dunk Low features a Light Brown base paired with Khaki and Dark Brown overlays. Purple contrasting accents appear on the Swooshes, lining, tongues, and a “demon” embroidered on the lateral heel, which is an image of Tsuno Daishi, The Great Horned Master. A White midsole atop a semi-translucent outsole with a spacial artwork from the late Edo period (1840s) by Utagawa Kuniyoshi titled 金時の節分. It displays bean-throwing child hero known as Kintarō, who will grow up to be the mighty warrior Sakata Kintoki, one of the retainers of the famous demon-fighter Minamoto Yorimitsu (Raikō).
