The Air Jordan XIII – White / True Red – Black was originally released in 1997 and was the first colorway to release of the Air Jordan XIII. A lot of us might remember seeing this colorway in the movie “He Got Game” starring Ray Allen (Jesus Shuttlesworth) and Denzel Washington (Jake Shuttlesworth).
The Air Jordan XIII were inspired by a Black Panther which resembled Michael Jordan’s game by the way he moved, leap in the air, and his speed. Was only a matter of time until we seen these Air Jordan 2012 “UNC” come to light. No other colorway, besides your traditional Black/Red are iconic to the Jordan Brand than the North Carolina Tar Heels colors. They feature a suede along the toe box, side panel and heel, with a glossy Flywire shell. We have no word on the release date on but you can expect the Tar Heels to be rocking them on the court.
