Camoflage patterns have been spotted on sneakers countless times, but occasionally we’ll see a well-known aesthetic go in a new direction. That’s exactly what the Vans Slip-On “Pearlized Camo” does, taking the brand’s iconic slip-on silhouette and blending tough camo greens with a surprise hint of glam.

Shades of olive, brown, and tan create the classic camo print over the entire canvas upper. What changes the whole feel are the scattered pearl-like studs placed across the vamp and side panels. They aren’t lined up perfectly either, which gives the Vans pearlized camo slip-on a slightly rough, almost DIY energy.

Around the collar, the material shifts. Black leather replaces the usual canvas wrap, creating a noticeable break from the camo print. White stitching runs along the edges and elastic gussets, helping frame the shape of the camo Vans slip-on while keeping the design clean.

Few shoes have remained as uniform over the years as the Air Force 1. Even today you see the silhouette plastered everywhere, usually with slight design variants to make it feel fresh. The Nike Air Force 1 Low “Roses” takes that same formula, utilizing the timeless all-white template with a slight floral detail, once again returning for the Spring/Summer 2026 season.

Most of the shoe stays classic. Smooth White leather wraps the upper, and the perforated toe box keeps the traditional AF1 structure intact. The Swoosh, eyestays, and heel tab all stick with the same white finish, letting the silhouette carry the clean look people expect from the model.

The theme shows itself along the midsole. A red rose graphic with a green stem appears near the lateral “AIR” text, adding a small hit of color against the white background. New Balance’s outdoor lineup has quietly become a playground for creative partners. South Korea’s CAYL, short for Climb As You Love, has been part of that movement since 2021. Their latest effort arrives as the CAYL x New Balance Performance Pack, bringing two trail-ready models designed with rugged terrain in mind.

Replacing the traditional mesh of the Fresh Foam Trainer, ripstop lends the upper a grey grid texture that appears durable and functional. Mark Gonzales has spent decades leaving his mark on skate culture, both on a board and on paper. His sketches, characters, and loose drawing style became as recognizable as his skating. Now that creative world moves outdoors as Gonz links with adidas TERREX for a new capsule built around exploration and movement.

Leading the way is the Mark Gonzales x adidas TERREX Skychaser GTX, available March 6 as part of the Shmoofoil Collection. Referencing “Shmoo,” a character Gonz has been paying homage to through his art for decades, expect his signature doodle-like illustrations of cityscapes and creatures to be strewn across hoodies, t-shirts, shorts, pants, and even a rain jacket.

Predominantly working with blacks, greys and whites so as not to distract from the graphics, pops of bright orange and red contrasts are printed across the garments using puff and screen processes that mimic the distorted nature of Gonz’s original doodles.

Footwear doesn’t disappoint either, provided by the adidas TERREX Skychaser GTX, an adidas hiking shoe designed to tackle unpredictable terrain. Nike has been subtly inserting fun back into their shoes recently and this pair takes full advantage. With a lot of playfulness here it feels like this wasn’t supposed to stay this clean for long.

A Pink Gaze base sets the tone, but it’s the scattered black splatter that really defines the upper. It feels almost accidental, like paint hitting fabric mid-motion, with small hits of orange tucked into the chaos. Black overlays pull things back under control around the eyestay and heel, while a Bright Violet Swoosh quietly connects to what’s happening underfoot. The smiley face logo at the heel lands naturally, more like a signature than a statement.

Down below, the tooling does most of the talking. The midsole carries a sculpted, almost molded look, with visible Bright Violet Air units spaced out in a way that feels different from older Air Max setups. Each pod sits on its own, giving the sole a segmented rhythm. A semi-translucent outsole finishes it off, with traction pods peeking through.

There’s a clear direction here, where Nike continues blending personality-driven themes with newer Air tech platforms.

The book builds on the momentum from the archive’s recent presentation during Paris Fashion Week. That exhibition showcased key works and milestones from Abloh’s journey across fashion, design, and culture. The Virgil Reader Vol. 001 expands that experience by bringing together roughly a dozen interviews with the late designer, giving readers insight into the mindset that helped redefine modern streetwear and luxury fashion.

According to Abloh’s wife, Shannon Abloh, the initiative reflects Virgil’s long-standing belief in sharing knowledge and creating opportunities for future creatives. Through the Archive membership program and the new publication, the organization hopes to make his ideas more accessible while continuing the educational mission tied to his work.

Nike Dresses The Shox R4 in “Black” and “Light Magenta” For Summer 2026

Nike’s early-2000s running archive keeps resurfacing, and the Shox R4 remains one of the most recognizable pieces from that era. A Nike Shox R4 “Light Magenta” colorway is now on the way, bringing a vivid update to the futuristic silhouette that helped define the line.

Black handles the upper, built with smooth synthetic panels and small perforations around the collar and tongue. That darker foundation lets the Light Magenta sections take center stage. The bright tone wraps across the sculpted side panels, where the model’s ribbed lines stretch from the heel toward the forefoot. A black embroidered Swoosh sits along the midfoot, blending into the layout while still giving the design a familiar Nike touch.

Elsewhere on the shoe, little changes from the R4 blueprint. Black shoelaces lace over a perforated tongue embossed with Nike Shox branding highlighted with hints of magenta. The same magenta colorway bleeds into the lining and insole that continues the cohesive vibe.

The heel still makes a statement, as four Light Magenta Shox columns pair with a black support plate beneath the foot to provide ample bounce that made the silhouette iconic years ago. Outfitting the sneaker is a black rubber outsole equipped with circular traction pods.
