The highly anticipated Jordan 5 Black/Metallic Silver will be releasing soon. This color way is set to hit Jordan accounts this August. The retail price is set at $150. An official date has not been released. Make sure you check with Sneaker Bar Detroit for updates.
The Jordan 5 sold the most from the Air Jordan line. The Jordan 5 was originally released in 1990. The Jordan 5’s were designed by the legend, Tinker Hatfield. Hatfield received his inspiration for the Jordan 5 from the WWII P-40 plane (shark teeth shapes on the midsole). Many have considered the Jordan 5 to be the best for basketball due to its structure and design.

When Michael Jordan broke all fans hearts by announcing his 1st retirement after winning the 1993 NBA Finals it was not only a shock but a devastation to everyone. Than came March 18,1995 when the world got to listen to Michael Jordan to announce his return to the NBA and quickly played the next day March 19th vs Indiana Pacers. The game was called “Welcome Back”, and Jordan wore his White/Black True Red colorway of the Air Jordan X. Jordan Brand than re release a retro of these 10s in a Air Jordan Collezione pack which included the 10s and 13s. Now in the Spring of 2012 we can re welcome back these Air Jordan X ‘Chicago’, which will have all SneakerHeads going crazy over once again. Breathe New Life Into: Nike Air Foamposite Pro Red/Black
While retro has token a huge leap in today’s sneaker game it wasn’t long ago when the Foamposite made its debut. At first Nike Air Foamposite Pro had a rough start which was price tag at $170 had limited available along with their unique colorway, must would say they were a head of their generation. While Nike Air Foamposite Pro got over looked in the beginning it has now become one of the strongest franchises over 14 years after being released. With the crazy colorways and also hitting the high $200 mark in price tag it is safe to say you can now respect the Foamposite move. Sneaker Bar Detroit recently came across another sneaker head. This sneaker head is Ken Covington. Ken was caught wearing the Jordan 7 “Bordeaux”. Ken: The shape. I love the way it fits. I love the tongue and the colors. Overall, it is a great colorway.

Ken: Fashion. I wear them when I go out.
Sneaker Bar Detroit: How many pairs of sneakers do you own?
Ken: Currently, I own 8 pair. I just gave away a lot of my shoes to charity. Whoever picks them up will be a lucky person!

Ken: Air Max 95 classic. The grey and lime green
