Inspired by pearls that stand for longevity in Chinese belief, with a White scaled base and “YOTD” detailing. Sneaker Talk: Let’s Talk – Nike Zoom LeBron 5 “Mr. Basketball”

What a year LeBron James is having, 2012 NBA MVP, Finals Champion, Finals MVP, Olympic Gold Medal and his Nike LeBron 9 Elite “South Beach” has been his biggest selling shoe to-date. Before he became King James, we was known as “Mr. Basketball” during his Ohio high-school days. While getting drafted as the number one pick by Cleveland Cavilers, Nike made a special House of Hoops exclusive release commemorating LeBron James with the Nike Zoom LeBron 5 “Mr. Basketball”. This release was limited to only 86 pairs worldwide, that made their debut in February 2008. They featured a newsprint covering the entire upper that came with a special LeBron James bag and mimi locker.

Mark Ong, better known as SBTG used the Air Jordan 4 UNDFTD as inspiration to his Air Jordan 5 “Broken Bones” Custom. Featuring a jagged graphic on the sole that he got from the shark teeth of military fighter planes, a Vietnam War zippo graffiti detailing throughout finished with a set of broken cross bones on the back heel and lace-lock.
