New Balance 204L “Black/Timberwolf” Comes In New Patent Leather

The New Balance 204L “Black/Timberwolf” In Patent Leather is a shiny reboot of an underappreciated archival runner.

Introduced in the early 2000s, the 204L quietly gained popularity for its rugged construction and versatile design. The Fall 2025 version of the sneaker revamps the original formula with patent leather overlays, which add a flashier twist that makes it easy to distinguish from its synthetic leather-focused predecessors.

Cloaked in black with plenty of mesh uppers to balance out the shinier areas, the shoe has Timberwolf grey accents on the “N” logo, heel branding, and tongue tag. Light grey padded textile lining gives it a softer feel and some reflective trim for the sneaker purists who spot those things. The cushioned foam midsole is mated to a rubber outsole and some circular pods and cream details.

The New Balance 204L “Black/Timberwolf” drops Fall 2025 at NewBalance.com and selected retailers for $120.

Converse All-Star City Hike Loafer To Debut Fall 2025

The Converse All-Star City Hike Loafer is a sneaker and loafer fusion that’s set to release Fall 2025. The design was a first in Japan, landing on the feet of Japanese streetwear enthusiasts before going global.

The Black/White colorway has a clean leather upper, but it’s the chunky sculpted sole that steals the show. The oversized midsole has sneaker culture swagger, and it helps keep the loafer line in the realm of comfortable everyday Converse.

The Black variant of the loafer tones it down just a touch, but the monochrome aesthetic is still a bold move. The single color scheme makes for an easy blend of the two styles.

On both models, the penny strap detail is on display, and the Converse “All-Star” embossed lettering shows up on the heel. The sneakers have padded interiors for extra comfort, and it’s another step in the sneaker house’s shoe-loafer mashup journey.

The Converse All-Star City Hike Loafer will be available Fall 2025 at Converse.com and in-store at selected retailers.

Original Story 8/30/25:
LeBron James continues to make history, now stepping into his 23rd NBA season with a sneaker built to honor his greatness. The Nike LeBron 23 “40K Gold” (Uncharted) commemorates the King being named the NBA’s all-time leading scorer, solidifying his place in history.

First seen during LeBron’s offseason workouts, the LeBron 23 carried on his tradition of debuting each new model himself. While the earliest sighting of the sneaker came in a clean all-black form, Nike has now officially dropped this celebratory colorway, complete with iridescent gold highlights and statement-making details.

The upper features shiny textures and ornate patterns, with black accents added for contrast. Metallic mini-Swoosh and crown-shaped creases adorn the midsole, and the heel features “40K” lettering in a vintage currency style. The presentation also didn’t disappoint, with the release coming in premium packaging complete with iridescent accents, a special booklet detailing LeBron’s journey and commemorative accessories.

That’s the kind of attention to detail that sneakerheads will appreciate, and what sets the LeBron 23 “40K Gold” apart from previous milestone models. It’s more than a sneaker that plays in an awards show for performance, but it also checks the boxes to be a trophy in and of itself with innovation, storytelling and, of course, collectibility.

Nike SB P-Rod 1 “Bred” Releases September 16th

UPDATE 9/3/25: The Nike SB Paul Rodriguez Air Zoom Low “Bred” releases September 16th for $125 USD via SNKRS.

Original Story 7/12/25:
Back in 2005, Paul Rodriguez dropped his first Nike SB signature shoe. Fast forward 20 years, and the Nike SB P-Rod 1 “Bred” is back to celebrate that milestone.

The familiar black, grey, and red color scheme returns in full effect. Red suede Swooshes cut through charcoal side panels, while black suede layers add contrast across the toe and heel. Quilted embroidery on the rear and the “PR” logo complete the signature look.

A crisp white midsole houses Zoom Air cushioning for a smooth ride, and the red/black outsole holds down both grip and style. Whether you’re skating in them or stashing them in the vault, the comfort still holds up.

This shoe helped shape the early years of Nike SB. It introduced a new wave of performance and personality to skate footwear. Two decades later, it still feels fresh—maybe even more meaningful now.

Nike Air Force 1 Low “Invisible” Releases September 11th

UPDATE 9/3/25: The Nike Air Force 1 Low “Invisible” in White and University Blue is set to release September 11th for $130 USD via SNKRS.

Original Story 6/24/25:
Nike is bringing a legendary sneaker back into view—ironically, with clear panels. The Nike Air Force 1 “Invisible” returns in Fall 2025, and it’s fresher than ever.

2006 Nike Air Force 1 Low Invisible Woman sneaker in blue with translucent panels next to a Marvel Fantastic Four Invisible Woman action figure.
The original 2006 Nike Air Force 1 Low “Invisible Woman” from the Fantastic Four pack, paired with a matching Marvel action figure.

This modern take nods to the 2006 “Invisible Woman” design from the Fantastic Four-inspired pack. And while there’s no superhero branding here, the vibe is still super. The sneaker mixes white tumbled leather with see-through blue TPU windows that peek right into your socks. Hope your sock game is strong.

Icy blue outsoles and soft University Blue hits on the tongue, heel, and insole branding add frosty flair. But the real showstopper? That flashy AF1 dubrae up front—it’s blingy enough to stop traffic, or at least start a conversation.

Unlike the OG fully-transparent version, this pair smartly keeps the clear bits limited to the toe box and sidewalls. So yes, they’re see-through, but still wearable—your feet won’t look like futuristic jellyfish.

Expect the Nike Air Force 1 “Invisible” to release September 11, 2025 via Nike.com and select retailers. Pricing is expected to be a little higher thanks to the upgraded details. Keep your eyes peeled—these won’t stay on shelves for long.

Whether you’re flexing nostalgia or just love clean design with a twist, this translucent icon is ready to shine.

Nike Shox BB4 “Olympic” Returns Summer 2026

Nike Basketball is bringing back another one of Vince Carter’s most iconic sneakers as the Nike Shox BB4 “Olympic” is returning for Summer 2026. The Shox BB4 is, of course, where a lot of basketball fans first fell in love with the sneaker when Carter debuted it in the 2000 Olympics in Sydney. The dunk over 7’2” Frédéric Weis is one of the most indelible images from those games, and has made the Shox BB4 an icon in its own right.

Vince Carter dunks over France’s Frederic Weis during the 2000 Sydney Olympics while wearing Team USA jersey.
Vince Carter’s legendary dunk over Frederic Weis at the 2000 Olympics, one of the greatest moments in international basketball history.

Eric Avar is responsible for the futuristic and silvery design of the BB4. Its most defining and innovative feature was the cushioning system, Shox. It also had spring-loaded pillars, which gave a jumping power to Carter and became iconic for that moment. The upcoming 2026 release will be arrive in White, Midnight Navy, and Metallic Silver color blocking, and will look almost identical to the retro that released in 2019.

Celebrating the 25th anniversary of the Shox BB4 in 2025, not to mention Nike just commemorating Carter’s HOF induction, this return is long overdue but timely nonetheless. Personally, this drop still has that edge sneakerheads always look for, a marriage of performance tech and culture storytelling.

Preview of 23 upcoming Nike LeBron 23 colorways from the Forever King collection, including Uncharted, Miami Twice, and more.
A first look at all 23 Nike LeBron 23 releases from the Forever King series, with Uncharted leading the lineup.

Split into three eras—“The Chosen 1 Arrives” (2002–2010), “Taking the Throne” (2010–2018), and “Long Live the King” (2018–present), the release will have distinct packaging, crown-shaped boxes, and charms LeBron personally curated with each drop. For its initial launch, Nike has confirmed three colorways:

Nike LeBron 23 Uncharted

This first release commemorates LeBron James’ 40,000th career point scored on the court, which makes him only the fifth player to reach that milestone. The release features iridescent gold treatment and a “40K” charm on the heel tab. It will launch on September 25th in China, and October 3rd on a global scale.

Nike LeBron 23 Miami Twice

The colorway pays homage to James’ first two NBA titles won during his stint with the Miami Heat. The release comes in a teal-and-pink palette.

Nike LeBron 23 The Chosen One and The One Who Cares

Celebrating the father-son love between LeBron and Bronny James, this shoe is split into gold and purple to represent Cleveland and Los Angeles.

FIRST LOOK: Kobe Bryant x Nike Air Force 1 Low “Cargo Khaki” (2025)

The Kobe Bryant x Nike Air Force 1 Low “Cargo Khaki” serves as a retrospective on Kobe’s career using one of Nike’s most iconic silhouettes. Kobe’s past collaboratives with the brand have mainly focused on player exclusives, but the Air Force 1 connection is still heavily intact, with another drop on the way in the form of the highly-anticipated “Denim” colorway.

This iteration continues the narrative but shifts into a more lifestyle leaning direction. The sneakers are rendered in a snakeskin textured leather, giving the “Cargo Khaki” colorway a rugged, premium feel. Kobe’s Sheath logo is on the heel while his jerseys numbers are stitched on the back tab. This sneaker doubles as an everyday wearing piece while also paying homage to Kobe’s legacy.

Compared to Protro performance iterations, this drop is a bit more easily attainable. This is very similar to the “Triple White” earlier this year, in that it lets fans pay tribute to Kobe without having to go after ultra rare silhouettes. Personally, this “Cargo Khaki” is one of the more rotation friendly tributes Nike has put out in recent memory.
