FORESTIVAL DETROIT COME HELP BRING BACK OUR CITY!

Come help make a difference for our city and lets bring back Detroit kids! A bunch of citizens of Detroit are hosting this wonderful event to revive the city. It will take place Sunday, June 24, 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM. Listed below is contact, and all other info on what will be takeing place. Lets take action and do something positive for the city! Hope to see you there!

Forestival Detroit
A group of young ecologists and citizens who live, work, and go to school in Detroit and would like to see some of the surrounding vacant, blighted lots put to community and ecological use for relatively little investment. If you’re interested in donating to the fundraiser, purchasing t-shirts, Detroit Music plantable seeded download cards,, please don’t forget to bring a little cash! All of these festival acts, equipment, and refreshments have been generously donated by amazing people. Email if you would like to contribute as well!

A group of Detroit residents who have a mission to transform some of the vacant patches of Detroit land into inexpensive, usable space. By planting forests, land for community use (and our ultimate goal= an arboretum) we aim to reap the benefits of urban reforestation efforts that other major cities are already seeing (New York, Chicago, L.A.). Among these benefits…

Increased air quality by removing airborne pollutants and producing oxygen.

Increased property value.

Beautification.

Increased physical, mental, and emotional well-being of residents.

Place of community gathering.

Place for children who are otherwise cut off from nature to experience more of the natural world.

Reducing carbon in the atmosphere/fighting climate change.

Reduction in crime, vandalization, and illegal dumping.

Reversing the urban heat-island effect.

and many more.

All of this is community funded and performed by volunteers; it costs the city nothing and gives it many gifts.

Supra brings us a new model similar to the Skytop ‘Paris’ here are the Supra Vaider ‘NYC’. These new Supra’s feature a Grey TUF satin upper with Yellow hints that represent the NYC Yellow cabs that are everywhere you go. You can also see the ‘NYC’ on the side panel as well as the Supra Brand logo with a Yellow and Black checkered pattern displayed on the insoles. Have you ever ran a marathon before ? If so you know how much endurance and work it takes to accomplish the goal of finishing a marathon. With that these NikeiD Free Run 2 ‘Run Dem Crew’ were given to the members of the Crew that finished the London Marathon which was a 26.6 mile race. As these Jordan Melo M7 Future Sole was spotted during March Madness with players on Syracuse rocking them. They feature a vibrant Orange upper with Blue contrast stitching on the base. Future Sole, Jumpman and Melo branding is seen on the heel, tongue and side of the Sneaker. Along With the passing over Melo’s sister last year the word “Chelle” (Michelle) is written. I wouldn’t say the wait is over YET, but finally we have something we can play and bump too while waiting for Tha Carter IV. Now available for download is Lil Wayne’s latest mixtape since 2009 No Ceilings called, Sorry 4 The Wait. This mixtape touches on his apology and thanks the fans for patiently waiting for The Carter IV. There are only 12 tracks on the mixtape with only a few guest with his Young Money crew and Lil B.

Today Jordan Brand brings us a similar look of Sneaker with the Jordan Sky High Retro TXT Low ‘Denim’. These feature a lighter Wolf Grey ‘Denim’ look with Navy Blue being seen on the front toe and along the pattern of the Sneaker, also contacted with a Metallic Bronze stitching. Weezy plans on bringing us some HEAT on the album calling this, “his best work to date.” The Carter IV is expected to have songs with YM, Busta Rhymes, Bun B, Tech N9ne, Cee Lo, John Legend and Will i.am along with beats by Swizz Beatz, Bangladesh, Polow Da Don and Boi-1da.

That’s where the inspiration of these Nike Zoom KD III ‘Horse Hair’ came from.
